Funding
We accept all types of funding:- 9-23 months, 2 year and 3-4 year old. The Government has introduced Working Families Funding - currently 15 hours per week for all 9 month to 2 year olds and 30 hours for 3-4 year olds. The 30 hours of working families funding will extend to all age groups from 1 September 2025. All 3-4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours – even if parents do not qualify for Working Families Funding. Funding is applied over 38 weeks of standard school terms but we are open all year and your funding can be stretched to cover the entire year. Funding begins the term after your child hits either 9 months, 2 year or 3 year old – i.e. 1 September, 1 January and 1 April. Please note that your child must be in our setting on or before the Local Authority headcount date which normally falls around 2 weeks after the first day of the school term.

You may receive a letter when your child is about to turn two years old which sets out an alternative entitlement to Two Year funding. This is also 15 hours a week to be used at a setting of your choice but note you can not claim both. Please inform the office if you receive this.
